Radiation count down: 3 to go! Wow!
I had the day off from work today to take Ethan to the oral surgeon. His three remaining baby teeth are now gone. The passage of time is going too fast, and I’m not prepared for seeing my “baby” change into a young adult. I’m just not ready for it! Being 5’3″ and just shy of 150 pounds, he’s likely to pass me out in height and weight before he’s 12! (Of course, it’s probably not fair that I”m working my way down in weight, which will certainly expedite things!)
It was nice to hang out this afternoon. I was able to get my laundry done, read a few chapters of my latest book, and even catch up on the past few episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy”! Tonight, we’ll be seeing my stepdaughter for dinner, before she heads back to NYC after Spring Break.
I had a chance to catch up on my blog stats, which continue to fascinate me. I’ve had over 17, 500 hits on my blog, a number that I continue to find staggering (although I am sure there are many more successful blogs out there!), and it’s been read in 29 countries to date. Pretty cool! It’s amazing how small the world is in blog-dom. I have started following the inspirational blog of woman in Australia who has detailing her journey through a lymph node transfer after 10 years of dealing with lymphodema. For anyone interested in checking that out: http://lymphnodetransplant.wordpress.com/
