While it’s been relatively easy to give up my carnivorous ways, it’s nights like tonight that. Mom made her delicious homemade meatloaf, a favorite of Ethan’s. It smelled wonderful and I was almost tempted, but then I remembered how good I feel by NOT eating meat, and the temptation passed. I enjoyed my baked potatoes and green beans. Mom did say she was going to try a potato and red beet borscht tomorrow, so I’ll get my turn. 🙂 I’ve never actually eaten borscht but I do love red beets. I’ll eat a whole can of sliced beets with apple cider vinegar for lunch, and we love to juice with it, so I am hopeful that I will enjoy it.
I have been doing extremely well with my water intake. I’m quite proud of that. However, I’m still getting used to the 10 trips to the ladies room! I guess as an added plus, I’m getting some exercise, too! I have been trying the warm water with lemon in the morning ( I’m even getting used to the tartness), but I’ve been hit-and-miss with remembering.
Today was “picture day” at radiation again (so soon?), and I had just enough time afterwards to get Ethan to his orthodontist appointment afterwards. We’re over the hump and winding down, with #18 today.
