I am happy to have reached yet another milestone with my blog today: Today is post #100!!! When I started this, I never thought it would get so much interest, so many thanks to all my readers out there in cyberspace! It means so much to me to know that you have stuck with me through this whole journey so far! Your support, good wishes, encouragement, and love are a great source of support and strength.
My thanks also to my dear friend, Diane, who has added another country to my list — Switzerland! Yea to country #14! And here’s to friends in good places. 🙂
Today I left the house for the first time in four days, and it felt so good! I first went to the doctor where I had my labs and visit with the PA. Lots of good news there! My white counts are actually in the normal range, and my reds, platelets and neutrophils are only a teensy bit under. So with the courage of that information, I actually did some final Christmas shopping, hitting the jeweler for some Pandora beads and a few other places for gift cards. I am looking forward to a day off tomorrow with my hubby so we can “wrap up” our Christmas shopping for good.
I’m still missing my taste buds and since my esophagus feels burn-y, I have ceased the lemon water experiment at this time. I will resume when my buds and throat get their act back together. Diane (of Switzerland fame) said her dad swears by this, so I definitely want to give it another try. Besides, what else would I do with all these lemons???
Thanks again for the first 100!!!
