Back to another full week of work. I almost made it through a full day but pooped out just shy of a whole day. I can make that up later in the week, but it was best to go home when I did. A few minutes on the couch was just enough to motivate me for juicing (at Ethan’s prodding). It’s definitely time for a trip to the grocery store, as we are down to the bare bones of fresh fruit. Tomorrow we’ll have nothing apples and pineapple! Nooooo!
I found this list that Ethan made in regards to juicing. Gotta love it! (And he gets full credit for tonight’s title, in honor of his lists below!)
“Fruits that juice”: apples, pears, oranges, grapes, strawberries, pineapples, blueberries, nectarines
“Fruits that juice, that shouldn’t be used” (his opinion, of course): lemons, grapefruit, mangoes, tomatoes
“Fruits that mush”: bananas, avocado
I am feeling pretty good, other than still being a bit tired. I’m scheduled for weekly labs tomorrow morning, so I will anxiously await those results. Hopefully the Neulasta kicked in earlier this time than last time. I guess worse case I’ll be on antibiotics again.
I was surprised by the number of compliments today on “my hair”. Many unknowing coworkers who just thought I got a different style. I’m torn on what to say (“It’s a wig!”) but have settled on “thank you”. One coworker who knew it was a wig actually said she liked it better than my real hair. Hmmm… Should I be grateful or offended…?
Prayers to a NJ coworker who is facing a recurrence of breast cancer and resuming treatment this week.
