I have next to nothing to write about tonight, but last time I skipped a day on the blog, people worried, so I felt I had to put something out here. 🙂
It was a pretty quiet day for me, as David took Marina and Ethan shopping and to the pumpkin patch. I felt a little left out at first, but in the end, sounds like the pumpkin patch was relatively lame this year. I appreciated that David got everyone out of the house and involved in something, so I could get some rest. I did nap (surprised?) and watched the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy. That was the extent of my ambition most of the day.
I did eventually get up and moving so I could juice. Tried a new fruit tonight: mango. I had to Google how to actually cut the darned thing, but we figured it out. It wasn’t clear if the mango was a good “juice” fruit, or if it worked better in a “smoothie”, but we went for it anyway. Ethan was sure he could taste it though.
I am looking forward to the Ladies in Pink outing tomorrow. It’s an annual event to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer survivors and is in memory of Michelle Zini. This is my first year, and I’m looking forward to spending time with a table-full of wonderful friends and family. We’ll be decked out in our pink, and I only hope I can last for the whole event! I guess I’ll sleep until noon before getting ready!
