My apologies to those of you who were worried because I did not post anything on my blog yesterday! Thanks for your concerns. Truth be told, there was just nothing for me to write about; it was other day of sleeping. Outside of going out for church and a bite to eat, I did pretty much nothing all day. Interesting enough, the church sermon was about the need, in our frantic and insane world, to stop and rest. I have that one down pat these days!
Today I have much more energy (don’t be too impressed). My big accomplishments for the day: I caught up on thank you notes, cut my too-long finger nails (which have been growing nicely with my new diet but which are too long for typing), and watched two episodes of “Once Upon a Time” on NetFlix! But I was awake for most of the day, if not terribly productive. I hope this trend continues so I can get some work done tomorrow!
I’m looking forward to enjoying some homemade chicken noodle soup for supper (thanks, Sandy!). I will admit that my taste buds have altered a bit, as I’m craving salty things. Not really on my list of healthy foods, I have eaten some chips, but tried to offset the salt craving with some cucumbers with salt also. And my new go-to food is peanut butter on toast (at least it’s all natural)!
My range of motion is immensely better and I can even sleep on my sides now. Whew! With all this sleep, it’s good to have options now!
